The Adventure Park

Feel like climbing onto a jungle gym built for grown-ups? Of course you do! From the cargo net access point, through all our aerial challenge stations, you and your friends are sure to get in touch with your inner child.

play with a purpose.

Recreation and Play

Play is an essential component for everyone. Seriously. There are very few things that produce such rich relationships and strength between friends and families as a good game. As far back as we can recall, it’s obvious that playing games, being creative, laughing, jumping, exploring, and pretending were the highlight of each day. Think about it: how many of you just couldn’t wait to go out and play?

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Remember the fun of the jungle gym? Relive your glory days of monkey bar swinging and tire-tub spinning with a climbing pass to Adventura, an adventure park that will have you scaling, zipping, jumping, and swinging like you’re a kid again. With 50-foot cargo nets, rope loop bridges, and a host of aerial obstacles, it’s like recess all over again, but this time you’ve got vertigo-inducing heights to contend with. Strap into safety harnesses and steel your courage (while soaking in the adrenaline) as you best this incredibly fun obstacle course. Once you’ve bested the final challenge, take a moment to relive those matchless moments and forget your finest fails.

Located in the heart of Woodinville Wine Country, Adventura’s grounds look out on the lush Pacific Northwest countryside. Grass lawns, picnic tables, a scenic view of the valley, and all within proximity to Redhook Brewery provide enough sustenance to satisfy the voracious appetite of anyone with an empty day. Upon returning home, many will find themselves rejuvenated and transformed into a highly skilled ninja monkey.

The Aerial Adventure Course At-a-Glance

The Aerial Adventure Course emphasizes perceived risk-taking, trust, and peer-to-peer coaching.

Safety School – This is a ground-based station where we teach participants how to use the safety equipment, harnesses, lanyards, etc.

Ascent – This large deck is the primary location for ascent onto the high course. From here, participants will work to belay one another up onto the first deck where they will clip into the course safety cables.

Climbing – The first step onto the course consists of a large 45 degree cargo net that connects the belay deck to the first high course deck. Once on the high course deck, participants can select their own paths. The high course is designed somewhat like a ski area in that each activity station can be identified as “green”, “blue”, or “black diamond”. Participants are encouraged to explore stations and pass on their new knowledge to others on the course.

Crossing from station to station – High course activities require participants to use a wide variety of skills: balance, strength, creativity, and patience. It should also be noted that our high course is designed for all types of humans. One need not be an Olympic athlete to play. All it takes is courage and a sense of adventure.

Descent – There are several methods for exiting the adventure course. The most popular method is the zip line which has a hydraulic braking system that allows a person to ride down from the course to the ground in a fluid motion. Other methods are down-climbing on the cargo net, standing rappel, or a down-climb from one of the pole stations.
